Profiled Schmofiled
Police wrongfully caught an Arab today using sinister, wicked, racist profiling. Video evidence shows the man acting suspiciously at the scene of the crime minutes before an explosion. Bomb making materials were purchased on his credit card and he has cooperated with police, admitting to blowing up American Liberty Bank. Sixteen people were killed and thirty others were treated for minor injuries but that doesn't begin to explain the tragic happenings of today's events. A man was profiled. Just because he was Arab, acting suspiciously, and at the scene of the crime minutes before a bomb exploded. This gross example of ignorance and racism tarnishes everything America believes in and it encourages radical behavior from poor rich Arab snowflakes that didn't get enough attention from their moms and dads. There were lots of white people at the bank that day but the first person the police went after was Arab. Have we sunk so low that we assume it was the dark skinned guy just because 99.7% of terrorist attacks come from Arab Muslim extremists? This is abominable! Without profiling, this poor terrorist would probably be at home with his burka covered wife beating her lovingly for being a woman. That will never happen now because he was profiled.
Police have since apologized for the incident but reiterated that they did catch the “bad guy.” The apology highlighted the problem with Americans today and their intolerance. The Arab is a “bad guy” just because he blew something up? This is racism at it's ugliest. We never should have caught this man because we should have been checking the grandmothers and children rather than focusing in on a helpless minority who fits a profile. How do we ever expect to stop terrorism if we don't start letting terrorists off the hook to show that we are a nice tolerant country? I for one think we should take people who profile, bury then in dirt up to their neck, then stone them for being so intolerant.
Arizona is currently going through similar issues with a new racist intolerant law. Unbelievably, the law would allow a police officer, after a legal traffic stop, to question a person's legal status with reasonable suspicion. To be clear, if you get pulled over speeding and you don't have a driver's license, insurance, or speak english, they can check to see if you are legally in the country! How can we allow this to go on?!? Its not a crime to be in the country illegally! How do we expect people to abide by our laws when we enforce the laws?
In other news, a middle aged white guy was arrested for kidnapping a little boy. He complained that police profiled him because he was a reclusive middle aged white guy. This is laughable because we all know that child abduction cases are almost always the fault of reclusive middle aged white guys.
