Woman Driving Erratically To Abortion Clinic Gets More Than She Planned..Parenthood
A woman headed to the abortion clinic met with tragedy when she careened through a red light colliding with a vehicle and causing her miscarriage. The woman has been charged with reckless endangerment and one count of manslaughter. The woman made a brief statement at the courthouse saying, “I am deeply upset that my actions have turned a $200 trip into a possible prison sentence. I only wanted to get rid of my baby. I never intended to hurt anyone.” The case is creating a firestorm as people try and answer the age old question, “when is it okay to kill your child.” Under current law a fetus is a baby everywhere except an abortion clinic. Pro-Choice groups are outraged at the charges claiming, “the baby...er...it was just a clump of tissue...that could one day be a baby...if it lives passed an arbitrary estimated deadline...or if the mother wants it.” They further contended, “Women need to have the right to choose what happens with their body. Right now they don't have any options beyond, not having sex, male condoms, female condoms, diaphragms, the pill, spermacide, pulling out, nuva ring, plan B, and tubal ligation (getting your tubes tied) which aren't even 100%. How can we deny a woman her right take no responsibility for her actions?”
Pro-Life groups fired back conceding they would “allow abortion in cases of rape and incest or where a woman was denied the choice to have sex.” They further added, “outside of those narrow circumstances the choice is whether to engage in sexual activity or not. When you consent to sexual activity you accept the risk of pregnancy.” This is obviously the ranting of bitter, hateful, right wing extremists who don't believe in Americans' right to avoid the consequences of their actions.
Planned Parenthood took the opportunity to stand up for a women’s right to choose and pad their bottom line by launching a new campaign at high school proms and lamaze facilities. Featured celebrities include Kate Gosselin, Paris Hilton, Bob Saget, and the entire cast of Jersey Shore. The ads are all tagged with the phrase, “Have you considered abortion today?” The ads have stirred up controversy causing everyone to ask, “Why didn't they use Kanye West?” There has been no official response from Planned Parenthood. We assume this is because everyone knows there is no greater argument for abortion than Kanye West.
